Frightened

One of the littlest kittens, Nod, was out on my lightbox to be photographed, (I was going for an effect much like this shot), when my father started the lawnmower up outside. Oh, the terror. She was quickly returned to her hidey-hole to wait out the terrible roaring noise, but not before I snapped this.

When I took this shot, it was phenominally underexposed. As such, there was a lot of post -processing, and I'm afraid it's still rather grainy and dark. Still, I love (well, not love, she's scared, after all, but I artistically appreciate) her expression and position in this one.
